I'm a pretty big McFly fan, been to see them live 3 times, have all their albums etc, I do think your review on Above The Noise is pretty harsh even though it is their worst album to date, but come on your allowed your own opinion. I haven't met them personally, but I have accompanied by bratty 11-year-old cousin to see them live (they weren't very good, but she seemed to like them; then, she likes Miley Cyrus). I've also made the effort to listen to their music.

Do you know what, I've just read through this comment and it's well written, get's it's point across and conveys a sense of just how upset you are that someone has had a pop at your beloved McFly.

I now have two points that I'd like make and I hope that you will take them on board.

1.) This is not a McFly fans forum, the people who come on here to comment do so because they dislike groups like McFly and celebrities in general. However it is merely a pastime for those if us who work in front of a PC all day and feel the need to occaisonally waste a bit of time and have a laugh, we are not militant about it, we do not care if someone on here slates a person we like or even admire in fact we accept it for what it is - mindless fun akin to screaming profanities into the darkness.

Reading this article confirms for me that this is the most ridiculous website on the internet, and that the people who run it have nothing better to do with their time than to slag off bands who have achieved more than you ever have or could.
I'm a huge fan of McFly and have been since they formed all those years ago. Many of the tweets from McFly fans last night WERE immature and unnecessary, but your reaction to it, as well as some of the extremely offensive comments left on both this article and the review, are ten times worse. Falling for the stereotype that McFly have had pinned on them is one thing, but stereotyping the fans in such a crude manner is beyond unfair, not to mention very hurtful. What gives you the right to judge people whom you have never met/seen, music you have never had the decency to listen to?! You admit in the review, Mr HM, that you didn't even listen past the 5th track on Above the Noise..!
It makes me very sad that there are people in this world who so easily find it in themselves to taunt and make fun of those who have a strong and firm love for a very decent, very real band. I wouldn't expect you to be able to relate to this, but this band has saved and made my life in more ways than I can express. McFly are my true inspiration and I am INCREDIBLY proud to call myself a fan.
