Michael Lohan has done what any other concerned father desperate for a bit of cash and publicity would do and has appeared on US talk show Maury to admit that he is planning to kidnap daughter Lindsay...

Unfortunately his plan has backfired somewhat, as now a "genuinely scared" Li-Lo is trying to take out a restraining order against him.

The ex-convict is currently on a roll when it comes to talking to about Li-Lo and how he plans to save him, as last week he was planning to stage an intervention after alleging his 23-year-old daughter is addicted to prescription pills. Then he claimed he was about to hunt down the drug dealer responsible for supplying Lindsay with the pills but it looks as though he only made it as far as the Maury studios.

Michael appeared on the show and admitted:

"I’m going to see the judge this week. If I can’t get a conservatorship, then I’m going to take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I’m gonna get charged with kidnapping. I will do anything and everything I have to to save your life. Whether mom likes it, or the public likes it or anyone, I am going to take all the steps I can to help you because I want you to have your life back. You’re not in the right state of mind."
