Mischa Barton was on set in New York's Meatpacking district for her highly anticipated role as Gladys the pregnant prostitute for Law and Order: SVU. And she seemed to be giving a convincing portrayal, although the suggestive sucking of the red lollipop and leopard print jacket helped us understand that she's playing a hooker...

Mind you, her outfit yesterday was 1000 times better than the clothes she's been wearing recently.

Sharon Stone will also appear on the show, as an ex-cop turned prosecutor over four episodes. And following the axing of her latest series 'Beauiful Life', directed by Ashton Kutcher, which was dropped due to poor ratings, Mischa had said on TV work:

"I think I need to back away from the whole TV approach. That whole world of network television probably isn't, for me, a good idea now. I need to start reading for more serious roles.

"I want to go fighting for interesting things and look for something that's going to be interesting for me."

Well, at least she hasn't had to turn to prostitution in real life...

I can guarantee that her outfit is authentic, although she is definitely at the lower end (i.e. "£20 for unprotected anal") of the market.......just how I like them.

Let's just hope Officer Dibble doesn't get wind of it or both myself and Ms Barton will be in a spot of botehr
