If you thought Miss Universe was a hot ticket, just wait 'till you see the sizzlers at this years Miss England. Contestants from such exotic locations as Worcester, Sunderland and Quinton (apparently a part of Birmingham) gathered together to show off both their talents in a selection of the worst clothes ever concieved, all hoping to win the illustrious title of 'Mrs Peter Crouch II'.

The competition, loosely based around the idea that you can get aspiring models to do whatever you want, featured dresses that had been made from anything that can be found in a skip. That is all except Miss Camberley (pic 2) who 'hates the feel of poverty against her skin', allegedly.

Even Danielle Lloyd (the celebrity's celebrity) was there, getting right into the spirit of things by wearing an ensemble that looked suspiciously like the rug from a minicab office.

Now of course the next step is to guess who will be the first to pop out her charlies for the lad's mags. I would say the firm favourite has to be Miss Liverpool (pic 3, although you could pretty much just have guessed from her title) while Miss Worcester (pic 4) looks like she'll probably go straight to the topshelf publications.
