We still don't understand why so many pre Bafta parties are being thrown. We always assumed that the general norm with these kinds of events is that the party would take place afterwards, rather than before. But who are we to complain, anyway? Friday's party provided us with some amazing photos of Ricky Gervais, Christina Hendricks and Emma Watson being pushed about by a burly man. And last night's shindig has brought us yet more photos of our celebrity chums... and yet more photos of Emma Watson being pushed about by a burly man.

We've got Bob Geldof, who bathed his trousers in an oil slick before leaving the house; socialites Tamara Beckwith and Tara Palmer Tomkinson, who makes us shed a tear from our eye and a litre of vomit from our trachea every time we set eyes on her nose; Matthew Fox, Kevin Spacey and Samuel L Jackson being the cool dudes they are and Paloma Faith, trying to be the cool dude she isn't.

Memo to you, Paloma: you're not quirky, you're just an attention seeking bellend.
