The NewNowNext Awards are a set of awards held by the gay and lesbian network Logo. As far as we can see, the idea behind the awards is to invite the most extravagant people you can find, cover them with makeup and then dye their hair a primary colour. Or black and white, We don't know what they're classed as.

Anyway, apparently it's an award ceremony rewarding everything that's fashionable and now and bleeding edge and trendy and all that kind of stuff. However, we weren't invited or even informed about it, so it sounds like somebody missed out. It might seem like we're bitter, but we're not. We've learned to rise above these kind of things these days.*

As mentioned above, there were drag queens and James Van Der Beek and Carmen Electra and a haircut called Adam Lambert, as well as singer Robyn. However, the stars don't really do it justice, so you should probably just have a look through for yourself. Think of it as the most productive thing you can do on a friday afternoon. You could probably even class it as 'research'. That's our usual excuse.
