We've had to field a series of complaints over the last few months about the serious lack of manflesh on display here on HM, and one name has come up over and over again. Alexander Skarsgård. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of Chris Brown we've already shown you this morning, we won't be able to show you more than a small amount of Skarsgård. Still, some Skarsgård is better than no Skarsgård at all, isn't it? Skarsgård. Skarsgård. Skarsgård.

Anyway, moving swiftly on, the above pictures are from PaleyFest 2011 in Beverley Hills, a TV festival that revolves around vampires and zombies and blood and all that type of stuff, which is why you can see the casts from both True Blood and The Walking Dead, and for any fans of True Blood, here's what the actors revealed about their characters:

Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse):

There's some stuff that's different.’

‘Eric is problematic for Sookie. He's caused her some trouble. He seems to be looking out for himself. But then he'll be on her side and has consistently shown interest. I mean, you never know.’

Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman):

'This [my] powerful character is just gone—it’s not what we’ve built up over the past three years.

‘And it’s a lot of fun for me because it’s the polar opposite of who Eric really is…He is lost. He doesn’t know how he is, he knows he’s a vampire, but he slowly finds out stuff, like, ‘Did I do that? I killed those people? Why would I do that? Oh. Really?

‘It’s not easy to hear—and not knowing who he can trust, who’s a friend or an enemy. He’s very vulnerable.’

Vulnerable vampires? Something smells like Twilight.
