Gazza in tears

Paul Gascoigne is now facing at the possibility of going to prison. His help in the Raul Moat case has apparently been overlooked and the judge decided instead to concentrate on the fact that he was stopped in his car, four times over the drink drive limit, rather than his offers of advice and culinary treats to the murderer also known as 'Moawty'.

Gascoigne emerged from the court visibly shaken after being shown pictures of his daughter's day to day 'work' (possibly), something that can only have compounded the misery after Judge Stephen Earl had said of his drink driving:

"I am requesting a probation report which covers all options up to and including a custodial sentence. The starting point is 12 weeks imprisonment. It is fair to say, obviously, that there are a number of aggravating factors here,"

Gazza's immediate response was to go for a cup of tea, possibly a few tears, and then he was off to worry about his actual sentencing, which is on November 11th.
