Too much choice for the people

While the grown-ups are up the road at the Palm Springs Film Festival, the kids are getting ready for the People's Choice Awards tonight. Too bad we forgot to cast our vote in the 'Favourite Animal Show' category...

With around 40 categories, we'll be surprised if anyone's able to stay awake throughout tonight's ceremony without the aid of a couple of matchsticks, but it's being speculated that all eyes will be on Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, who reportedly broke up after not actually even confirming their relationship in the first place.

Taylor Girl is up for three awards - Pop Artist, Country Artist and Female Artist, while Taylor Boy is nominated for Favorite Breakout Movie Actor and Favorite Movie and On-Screen Team along with his Twilight costars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Drama! It's like Jennifer and Brad at last year's Oscars all over again.

Kellan Lutz, Ryan Reynolds and Carrie Underwood have also confirmed their attendance - and performances will be coming from Queen Latifah, who's also hosting the bash, Mary J. Blige and Cobra Starship with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

Is this really all that the public can be trusted with voting for?
