Please look at the following CCTV footage of the last moments of Mark Blanco's life three years ago - at the flat of Paul Roundhill, a drug dealer and Doherty's 'literary agent', where Doherty and a small circle of his friends were gathered. It shows the (unconscious) body of Mark falling from a first floor balcony, and Doherty, together with his friend Kate Pavier and 'minder' Johnny Jeannevol running from the scene, leaving a dying man, on their way to another party. Jeannevol later walked into a police station in the east end, and confessed to killing mark that night, a confession he later retracted saying he was on drugs. This was never followed up by police.

Mark's mother and sister have paid to have a private investigation mounted. This is a hugely expensive undertaking and the family would never have mounted such a costly investigation were they not convinced that Mark had been unlawfully killed that night. The independent findings suggest that Mark was unconscious when he was pushed over the railings. Independent research shows he did not jump from the balcony, suggesting instead that he was punched unconscious and was then pushed over the balcony. None of the people present, nor Doherty himself has ever been interviewed as a suspect by police about what happened that night. It is incredible that he seems to be above the law in some way.
