Wed, 08/12/2010 - 13:08 by HM writerWow, Pete Doherty - who's morphed from Paul Merton to Corrie's Craig Gazey overnight - can add actor to his current list of talents spanning from musician to trinket maker. Who's starring opposite him, Lindsay Lohan? Alongside Corey Feldman and er, Craig Charles??
Doherty has been cast as the lead in a small-budget French film based on the life 19th-century writer Alfred De Musset.
He said:
"I don't know if I'm a good actor but they say I am."
Seriously, how does this man get work??
Doherty will be starring opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg (who we hope for her sake won't be getting as close to him as she did to Willem Defoe in Antichrist), in what is bound to become the world's second most pretentious film of all time...
