Police investigating the death of Michael Jackson have searched the home and offices of his personal doctor, Conrad Murray, following claims that he administered Jackson with the dangerous sedative Propofol hours before he died on June 25.

Looks like Mr Holy Moly and his trademark balaclava have found another day job...

Police from Los Angeles and Las Vegas joined with drug enforcement officials to raid Murray's residence in the search of "property or items constituting evidence of manslaughter".

Dr Steven Hoefflin, who treated Michael Jackson for 25 years, has been claiming that Murray had been seen by several witnesses giving Jackson the sedative, believed to have triggered his cardiac arrest, through an intravenous drip each night.

Hoefflin had said:

My opinion is that Dr Murray fell asleep on the night Michael died - while the IV drip administering Propofol was in Michael's arm.

Dr Murray's lawyer said of the search, which comes a week after the first search on another of Murray's offices:

Dr Murray was present during the search of his home and assisted the officers. Investigators left his home after seizing cell phones and a computer hard drive.

An LA Police spokesman has since confirmed:

This is part of the ongoing investigation into Michael Jackson's death.
