Uh-oh has Lady Gaga done a Lindsay Lohan? No, not been put on probation for a DUI offence or starred in terrible movies; borrowed expensive items which have since gone missing. Royal lingerie company Rigby and Peller are frantically trying to track down sets of underwear from their latest collection that were loaned to the singer for her new video...

The company sent seven sets to the singer for her new video, three of which were brought back but the rest reported 'AWOL' by couriers.

A spokeswoman for Rigby and Peller said:

"Thank God they are AWOL, we don't want to handle unwashed knickers that she has worn and  danced around in Obviously we were delighted that Lady Gaga wanted to use our new pieces in her next video but we did stress we needed them back in plenty of time for our press show.

 

"They are all hand-made and unique designs that are simply priceless and are not available anywhere in the world so we are really disappointed not to get them back in time for our major showcase of the year.

 

"The last we heard the underwear was still 'AWOL' and we are not sure when we will see them again. If we don't get them back then it could hold up the whole production of our AW10 collection as they are the prototypes."

Meanwhile, GaGa's spokesperson has added:

"We have nothing to say on the matter."

So that's that. But it's a relief to hear that she will be wearing proper underwear in her next video (as opposed to no knickers at all or police tape) while models for Rigy and Peller secretly rejoice that they won't have to wear bra and pants that have come straight off GaGa's naked, sweaty body (unless they had tape in them like the ones you try on in shops and have to buy before removing, but as these are fit for the Queen, we doubt it)...
