It only took a minute...

It was the moment that the enitre world had been waiting for. No, not Katie Price being forced to eat a Kangeroo's anus washed down with monkey jism, Robbie Williams joining Take That on stage at the Royal Albert Hall last night for Children in Need...

Take That opened the charity show with a performance of 'Greatest Day', before Gary Barlow announced:

"What a beautiful place we are in tonight. What a perfect time to introduce an old friend of ours. Please welcome on stage, Robbie Williams!"

Robbie then entered to a rapturous round of applause, only to perform two of his own songs. Boring! But he still came over all emotional, shed a tear and even gave his former band mates a big hug. It's progress at least...

Unfortunately he was still doing that weird wide-eye thing (also seen in the government warning advert), which he had originally put down to nerves. Perhaps he was just over-excited again...

Also performing for Children In Need last night were Cheryl Cole and Snow Patrol performing a duet (not as bad as that may sound as Cheryl sang Martha Wainwright’s lines on the Snow Patrol song 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar). Although Cheryl had donned her Street Fighter outfit to perform her debut solo single too. Lily Allen, Sir Paul McCartney and Leona Lewis also took to the stage to sing 'Hey Jude' (unfortunately we went to the loo during that bit)...

Other guests included Louis Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Ashley Cole, Katherine Jenkins and Fearne Cotton...

  • Nerves? (sniffs)
Is that what they call it? (sniffs)
    Riiiiiiiiight.

Jason Orange though isn't looking too clever. His head looks like it's been photoshopped.

Big of Take That though to welcome Rob back. Says more about them than it does about him. He's so full of self-pity.

Probably explains why Jonathan left him to er, live somewhere else.
