Is Robbie Williams rejoining Take That or is he just going on Mark Owen's stag do whilst listening in on the mixing of their forthcoming live album? It's a big story whether you care much for their music or not.

Tabloids have been drooling over the prospect of a reunion ever since the world remembered Take That were actually good and that Robbie may actually not be the Messiah after all.

What we now have is a classic tabloid story war - on one side we have The Mirror, who are utterly convinced that Robbie is in New York "laying down some tracks" (a phrase only ever uttered by tabloids or people who have never recorded music) whilst The Sun are sticking to their guns and saying he's just there to listen to the tracks he sang on as part of the band's live album.

So who's right? Well, as it turns out, they both are. Kind of.

They aren't recording tracks at the moment and Robbie isn't about to rejoin the band any time soon, but according to our sources they are planning "something special" after Robbie's next album is all done and dusted. Given that this will probably take a year, there isn't anything to get massively excited about JUST yet (If you were excited at all that is).

Lose the fucking Wayfarers though mate - they make you look like Dusty Bin (and I also want to know what the redhead saw in pic5 - skids?)

  • Hell I always though" laying down some tracks" was a suicides song.

  • Or because the person in question would lose there job. Apart from that, bang on.
