News just in that Ronnie Wood has been arrested for the alleged assault of girlfriend, 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova...

According to Sky News, Wood has since been released on police bail after the reported incident, which apparently took place on Claygate High Street, Surrey, last night.

The pair reportedly had a huge falling out a few months ago, and it was claimed Wood chucked Ivanova out his north London home after she threatened to kill herself.

Neighbours of the 62-year-old (those poor buggers) claimed he retorted:

"Fuck off home, you slut."

A Surrey police spokesperson has said:

"We can confirm that a 62-year-old man from Esher was arrested last night on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident in Claygate High Street.

"He has this afternoon been released on bail until a date in January pending further inquiries."
