Its time to face the music

The RTS Awards were held at Grovesnor House in London last night - the biggest shock of the night being that Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe beat X Factor and Britain's Got Talent in the Best Entertainment category. GO BROOKER!

Pictures of the event etc haven't arrived yet, so you'll have to make do with a few of Loose Women being uncharacteristically pissed outside the Groucho club with Cilla Black and Antony Costa. A List, i'm sure you'll agree.

  • I'm always suspicious of any awards ceremony where Eastenders wins, whoever voted for that show to win, even if it was against The Bill and Casualty, needs to have a word with themselves. A load of shouting cockneys, bad acting, depressing and with a fat ginger balding man who is apparently a hard man, ridiculous.

  • Charlie Brooker IS Laurence Fishburn except that Charlie looks like an angry trout. Why IS he so vex? Mind you if I looked like Morpheus I wouldn't be happy. Oh and "Big and Small - Blame it on the Drain" is surely a description of Wogan's down-the-leg blarney stone.
