Russell Brand isn't completely clean after all. Well, his police record isn't, at least. The former junkie has been thrown out of Japan before he's even had a chance to taste the sushi, having been rumbled by the authorities for something naughty he did over 10 years ago. And how do we know this? Well, because his wife Katy Perry took to Twitter to express her rage as it happened earlier this morning. She's not a happy bunny.

Katy Perry is due to play four dates in Japan over the next week as part of her 'California Dreams' tour, and her husband had kindly come along with her for the fun and games. However, that didn't go to plan, as she revealed on Twitter this morning:

"So...my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favourite place #tokyodreamscrushed (sic).

 

"It was for priors from over 10 years ago! #mamanothappy! #don'tmessw/mahman! #uwannaplaylet'sgo #don'ttakeawomansmanfromhershe'llgetsiasty!"

We get the feeling Katy hasn't learned how the 'hashtag' function works yet...

"But of COURSE I <3 my Japanese fans & the show #MUSTGOON no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings! #it'snotrightbutit'sokay."

 

Ahh, so he's been kidnapped now. She doesn't half talk a lot of bollocks.

She's now started a "#FREE @RUSTYROCKETS!" campaign, 'RustyRockets' being his Twitter username. We're sure it'll take off.

Russell, this will teach you that shoving cocaine-packed condoms up your arse minutes before boarding a flight is not only unhygienic, but unfavourable to your future travels even if you've changed your ways and been off the hard stuff for a good few years. Some people don't forget. Especially not the Japanese, it would seem.
