The only ring Kate Moss has is the shrill sound in her head this morning after she attended a belated birthday booze-up last night...

It's the event that Fran Cutler's been waiting for for the last 364 days - Kate Moss birthday party!

But it looks like Kate's ring still hasn't been tightened (although there were plenty of slacker ones around last night) as she showed off a bare left hand while at Shoreditch House with rumoured fiance Jamie Hince.

We can't decide whether the 36-year-old does an AMAZING job of shielding her daughter from the press or if Lila Grace has been in the basement while mum's spent the start 2010 in Thailand, Mustique and Shoreditch, but the only family member we could spot at the bash was Kate's mother, who must be 60ish but still looks half the ago of Frost or Cutler. 

Still, though, the engagement saga continues as it's now being claimed by Chinese press (and they'd know) that Kate and Jamie are planning to elope, with a 'friend' telling the country's national paper:

"[Jamie] has asked Kate to marry him several times. Everyone around them knows he's crazy about her and would marry her in a second. Neither of them are into the idea of a big traditional wedding. Kate told him one day she will surprise him by turning around and asking him to elope, when she feels the time is right. Kate never follows the rules, she'll always do what suits her."

Sorry, Fran, looks like you won't be getting that hen do after all... Only another 364 days to go though.
