BREAKING NEWS: A blonde woman has been stretchered out of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren's home after taking a suspected overdose.

No news as to the identty of the woman, but let's be honest - it's likelt to be Elin Nordegren isn't it? This comes on the same day it was revealed Tiger Woods was on prescription drugs at the time of his car "crash".

More news as and when it happens, but as it turns out, it was Tiger that moved out, not Elin as we said earlier today. Tiger left to live at their home in Orlando, whilst Elin stayed on in Isleworth.

Grim.

UPDATE: Reports now suggest that it was a middle aged woman. This could tie in with his Mother in Law showing up a day or two ago...

ANOTHER UPDATE: Was definitely the Mother in Law, Barbro Holmberg. She probably just asked how much money her daughter was entitled to (disclaimer: If she dies or is seriously ill I will obviously delete that bit etc) - apparently she's now been released though.

  • I didn't know that Tiger Woods could have problems with drugs. I have a friend who rents apartments in Spokane and we are both huge fans of golf. We used to meet and gossip about Tiger Woods's love affairs, that made him even more notorious than he is.

  • Tiger woods has really gone downhill, I thought the affairs were bad enough but somehow he just keeps getting into more trouble. Maybe if he would have tried Marriage counseling when he first started having problems he wouldn’t be in this mess.

  • Was his wife only in it for the money and fame or could Tiger just not keep his cock in his pants.

Let the court of public opinion decide.

  • Why defend him? He's been a cock. The only person who could defend him is someone who has also been caught dipping his wick elsewhere and doesn't like the way people reacted.

  • Blartmonster, what's the problem - if this was Beckham we'd all be revelling in it.

  • @thirdmanuk. OED definition: noun 1 an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others.
What do you mean I'm a sad bastard for taking the time to do this?

    charl25 Wed, 09/12/2009 - 08:54
  • This isn't about the piousness of the press. The man had everything but it still wasn't enough. I don't dislike him but when you make the vast majority of your money because of a public image, you're fair game when you fuck up. Oh and if the average husband fucked 8 women on the side, I'm not sure saying "he just shouldn't have got married" would be many people's reaction.

    charl25 Wed, 09/12/2009 - 08:47
  • The Golf cover with Tiger and Barrack bending over this month was divine irony.

    whereswaldo Tue, 08/12/2009 - 21:19
  • Stramash - I agree with you on that, completely. I just find it quite hilarious about the piousness of the world's press when someone famous diddles around. I think the stupid bastard is naive and arrogant, and yes he has "abused" his wife. However, he simply shouldn't have got married, is how I see it.

When you consider what that megastar singer who died this year got away with in his lifetime, yet is still deified beyond the grave, it makes a mockery of the whole game. All I'm trying to do is level it out by pointing out the multifaced-ness of the fucking media.

So yes, let's just remember Tigger for being the stupidest cunt, with a pretty bad taste in women, but a fucking mean "poosticks" player....

  • Blart, I think you'd agree that his wife has been "publicly humiliated" to a degree which is now beyond normal comprehension (8 shagees and counting).

Tiger's not been able to keep his cock in his pants, he's treated his wedding vows as a joke, and he's shown the self control of fat person from Oldham in a pie shop.

He deserves all the opprobrium and piss taking he gets. The fact that all Wacko's nutty "fans" are trying to canonise him is really beside the point on this story.

  • Gotta agree with MJ on this one - always amazed at how anyone famous ever thinks they are going to get away with it.

    slug Tue, 08/12/2009 - 18:13
  • Fair point Blart but if I had the money he did I'd either have my "transgressions" with professional, well paid and above all discreet madam's.......or just hire someone to kill all the bar-room slappers that I was poking once I was done with them.

I don't mock the man, I mock the naivety.

  • Yeah, let's all have a smug daisy-chain wank at the fall from grace of someone who's never hurt anyone or publicly humiliated anyone a la cunt Price.

Some people deserve their public sacrifice in the flames of scorn - Tiger Woods, I'd suggest, unless he's been grooming young kids for later delectation, is not one of those people. The public on the other hand, in general, seem to refuse that latter intimation of a certain singer who died earlier this year, and who still seems to be deified....
