Travolta said that Jett suffered from autism and would have regular fits;
"Every five to ten days he would suffer a seizure lasting 45 seconds to a minute and then sleep for about 12 hours."
Travolta wanted to fly Jett back to America right away rather than take him to the nearest local hospital. Paramedic Tarino Lightbourne presented him with a form to sign which Travolta claims he didn't read as "time as of the essence" and thought it was a "liability release document."
The form was a "refusal of medical attention" document. Lightbourne and ex Senator Pleasant Bridgewater are accused of demanding £15million from Travolta or they would make the document and "other damaging statements" public.
The trial continues.

Travolta never publicly admitted his son was autistic, instead claiming he had Kawasaki syndrome which exhibits completely different symptoms to autism. While autistic children are withdrawn and appear indifferent to their surroundings, those with Kawasaki syndrome display a desire to wear fluorescent, lime-green clothing and deliver parcels for a living.
