Channel 4's Big Brother; which throughout its 10 long years gave us Charley Uchea, Chanelle and Chantelle, Jade Goody, Jade Goody's ghost and George Lamb another presenting job, was finally bid farewell to last night as Brian Dowling was named the Ultimate Big Brother contestant....

And the order in which the Ultimate BB contestants went out were as follows: in 7th place was Ulrika, 6th place Preston, 5th place Nick, 4th place Victor, 3rd Chantelle and in 2nd place, Nikki.

The evening also included a video montage of the late Jade Goody, a half-hour tribute to Davina McCall, who conveniently claimed her favourite housemate of all time was Brian, followed by a performance of all the Big Brother winners butchering Andrea Botcelli's Time To Say Goodbye.

Davina added:

"I don't like goodbye, so night night."
