Purveyor of fine shoes and Mother of the Decade Dina Lohan popped out to visit Lindsay in the slammer yesterday with youngest daughter Ali, looking grave and sombre despite Lohan probably being released by this time tomorrow. Meanwhile, dad Michael has been attempting to help his daughter by name dropping on the radio...

Speaking to a station in the US, a deeply concerned Michael Lohan said:

"My people are reaching out to Robert Downey Jr. and to Mark Wahlberg (KLANG!). I know both of them and Mark is a tremendous human being."

We don't know what seems more unikely; that Michael has 'people' or not that he's spoken a single word to Downey Jr or Walberg.

He added, somewhat unrealistically:

"Hopefully they'll see her before she gets out and she'll get in this rehab and get off these prescription meds, and she'll get her life back."

Probably, but unfortunately they're currently living their lives and not really giving a fuck.

"She's only on two [medications] right now. Ambien is for sleeping, so I can understand that. But this Adderall stuff has got to be stopped. Seven out of 10 kids in college are on this stuff and it's no more than methamphetamine! It's speed.

"Once she gets out, which will be Thursday or Friday, of course I'm going to fly back and I'll be there for her."

Which is probably enoigh to make her beg for life inside...
