High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has done an interview in which she calls the nude pictures that circulated around gossip websites two years ago "unfortunate" and "embarrassing."

However, she's thrilled her new role is playing a maniac prostitute called Blondie! Hooray!

Hudgens also sounds desperate to ditch her High School Musical image. A bit too desperate! Instead, she'd like to be like any other actress ever!

Quoth Hudgens:

"Playing Blondie is totally is my Angelina Jolie part. I get to run around with guns and fight big men.

 

I really want to pick Halle Berrys' brain. She is such an empowering sexy woman. There's nothing I would rather do than play a role like Catherine Zeta Jones's in Zorro."

So we're guessing her career plan is to dabble in lesbianism, appear in crap like Catwoman and Gothika and round things off by marrying a man old enough to be her grandad. Result!

Anyway, here's what she says about everyone seeing her bits and bobs. 

"It's just really unfortunate and to this day people hate me for it but it's not like I chose to put that out there in the world, you know? It's so aggravating and frustrating and whenever anybody asks me if I'd do nudity in a film, if I say it's something I'm not comfortable with, they're like, 'Bullshit, youv'e already done it.' If anything it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It's screwed up that someone screwed me over like that. At least some people are learning from my mistakes."
