Love and Money

Courtney Love looked more insane but just as waxed and glittered as Janice Dickenson last night as she attended the 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' premiere in New York. Michael Douglas also made it with Catherine Zeta Jones despite currently undergoing going treatment for throat cancer...

Douglas was joined by co-stars Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan, Josh Brolin, Susan Sarandon and director Oliver Stone.

Speaking at a conference about his illness over the weekend, Douglas said:

"I'm in the middle of my program, and it's going along fine. I'm very optimistic and hopeful right now. My family has been very supportive. There's not a lot that anybody can do. You've just got to kind of do the program.

"But it's the world you [learn to] understand about cancer. You get to know cancer survivors, and the kind of support and outpouring I've been getting has just been amazing.

"Life is not all ha-ha-ha but I'm in good spirits. I'm an optimistic guy. Nothing has deterred me from my belief that I am going to beat this. My doctors' prognosis is for a full recovery. I have no reason to doubt them."

We think we'll just watch the original again...

  • Aaarrgh! Shia Le Bleaugh - nooo! His stupid fat face. Bless him. He's probably a decent bloke but I can't BEAR him. Can't we pack him off to some euthanasia place with a note saying: "Ignore what he says. He REALLY wants to go through with it."
