Here they are - the X Factor USA judges arriving for the their first day of work - we're not surprised Paula Abdul's clinging onto Simon Cowell after he offered her this lifeline, but poor Cheryl Cole, after all those months tearing her hair out during negotiations, she's now stuck with a comedy Chewbacca wig. Hang on a minute, isn't Cowell's fiance Mezhgan Hussainy the show's hair and makeup stylist? The joking tyke!

Everything's bigger in the US - portions, Cole's hair and Cowell's wallet - except not feet, they're not allowed (pic 2).

Anyway, if you persevere with the Dettol ad, here's a clip of the judges arriving for the auditions in LA, along with some loitering from Cowell's ex Terri Seymour - hmmm, maybe that explains the hair sabotage...

Cheryl looks terrible. Whoever 'styled' her must have been taking the piss? She looks like a short-arsed Shania Twain tribute act. Let's hope she doesn't cotton on because her "fashions" could be the real entertainment (heh heh)

I remember some time ago, Tescopop made a comment that hit the nail so squarely on the head that it has remained with me to this day [and I repeat it to any grown woman who fawns over Cheryl's "prettiness"].

She said 100% correctly, that Cheryl closely resembles an American pre-school beauty pageant winner, with her tiny body teamed with huge hair, huge heels, huge nails, huge lashes, huge dewey eyes, tons of bronzer and eye-make up.

She is a parody of style, sex appeal and attractiveness that only a few seem to be able to detect... It seems quite obvious to me, leek, but her stylists seem to have the world fooled...
