You can't hate the colour bland

Remember back in the day when we all used to gather together in a big circle and call Emma Watson a useless, talentless, naive tart? Ah, those were the days. Aggressive sexual insults as fresh and new as mountain dew would be interspersed with the kind of horrific, explicit gore you'd expect to find in a epileptic butcher's dustbin. And best of all? We were right. We were right.

Nowadays though she's just another frighteningly rich celebrity, albeit with a pretty face and the kind of personality you only notice if someone's frighteningly rich and has a pretty face. She doesn't really do or say anything she hasn't done or said before and aside from becoming slightly prettier and slightly richer, she's pretty much the same as she was a year ago.

OR IS SHE?… (Via The Independent)

"As I've got older, and since I cut all my hair off, I've felt a bit more liberated about trying different things out. I think there's this idea that lipstick is something quite old or something you'd only wear at night. The nice thing about these is that they're really translucent, like a tinted lip balm, so you can wear them in a more casual way."

"Doing the Potters was such a bubble, and then having to figure out how to function in the real world has been a challenge. But it's been the small successes for me: I know how to use a washing machine, I can cook. It's worth it to me not to feel disconnected from everything, feeling like I'm in touch with people who do other things than acting or being in the entertainment industry."

"I had journalists asking me if this [cutting her hair] meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now. That haircut did make me realise how subjective everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people just thought I'd lost my shit. All I can do is follow my instincts, because I'll never please everyone."

Yes she is. Although, admittedly she did say 'shit'. Which you'll all agree was pretty wild.
