Kate Moss has now been tipsy famous for more years than she hasn't - she's 38 today. Apparently she's planning an X Factor themed party for tonight, which we're going to give a miss because we don't want to dress up as either Tulisa or Kitty Brucknell. We're sure it will still be fun though, especially after just trawling through various pictures of her other bashes over the years (see gallery) - we recall the one at Claridges caused a bit of a stir.. Anyway, her birthday gives Fran Cutler and Meg Mathews something to do. That's the main thing.

In other birthday news, Aailyah would've been 33 today had she not tragically died in 2001, Sade's 53 and, er, John Carpenter is 64. Many happy returns, Kate - older and wiser. Compared to the Doherty year anyway.
