Following on from the news that Kris Humphries wasn't actually Kim Kardashian's first choice of a fake husband, the basketball/hockey/baseball/soccer(?) player might have actually taken a moment to wonder what the hell was going on with his life - it's being reported that the couple are filing for divorce today. That's 72 days after the big TV wedding. Oh deary dear, that's even shorter than her first marriage - although more lucrative at least.

We honestly thought they'd at least drag out a few more episodes before the divorce finale - what about the one where they decide to adopt a baby or have a row about her wanting him to change his surname to Kardashian-Kumphries? Maybe they've already been fitted in.

According to TMZ, they're filing for divorce, with KK citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the move. It's also claimed she's hired Laura Wasser (Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds lawyer type) to handle the legal proceedings.

Apparently they set up a prenuptial agreement, so it should all work out okay for KK - the wedding netted her several million. At least Kris could get a nice mustard jar out of it though :(((
