You will live forever Liam, you truly will

Liam Gallagher once sang a song about immortality, a song in which he and his brother rhymed pain with rain, and fly with die. It was a song, very much indicative of the carefree attitude voiced by many youngsters during that time, and one which went on to sell millions of physical copies. It was a success, both commercially and philosophically.

And yet, it seems, that's just not enough for the mac-wearing Mancunian. He wants more. More, more, more. A sentiment previously shared by his close friend Billy Idol in the song Rebel Yell, and also by the marketing manager of Pretty Green. That's right. Liam now wants to be immortal himself. Immortalised on screen that is... AS HE BRIEFLY MENTIONED QUITE VAGUELY IN A CONVERSATION THE OTHER DAY. (Via The Sun)

"Sometimes, when we've had a few drinks, we sit about telling stories and talk about putting them in an Oasis film. I'd be up for that.

"But I'd start it with Paris. I wouldn't want it to end on such a bummer. I'd start at the end and work my way backwards.

"It'd be a long film but it'd be a film worth watching, believe me. It'd be a funny film and all."

Oh, come on. Give us a break. It can't always be Noel. Or 100 percent meaningful.
