Matthew Fox was detained by the police after it was claimed he assaulted the female driver of a bus he tried to gatecrash. Wait, WHAT? According to reports, Fox was detained in the US by cops investigating reports he had assaulted the female driver of a party bus (Party of more than Five) which had been rented for a bachelor (stag) do.

Driver Heather Bormann says she confronted the actor because she believed he was a gate-crasher and warned him three times to get away from the door.

Talking to TMZ, she said:

"I told him he was trespassing. He never once said anything. He just looked at me with his mouth open.

"I told him, 'You have to leave, buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.' (Then he) leaned in and started punching my crotch and breast.

"I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards.

"This was my self-defense. This was the only way I could protect myself…from a man beating up on a woman."

According to a police report, Fox was put in a police car but eventually released.

Meanwhile, 29-year-old Bormann said she has a strained wrist and plans to file assault charges on Tuesday. Eh? Don't police work on Sundays or bank holidays?
