As soon as we saw Michael Fassbender and his huge penis in Shame, there was only one question in our mind 'when will we get to see Doctor Who's egotistical protagonist Matt Smith in a similar role?'. It's the obvious choice. There's just something so sexy about a man with overwhelming, possibly unrealistic confidence in his abilities.

Luckily, it seems that all our dreams may one day come true, as the actor explained to assembled fans at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards (LESBFA) that he was more than keen to put his entire body on display for his art. Like Michael Fassbender.

“I think Shame was brilliant and Michael magnetic in it.

"One day I would love to do something similar and maybe work with director Steve ­McQueen.

"Of course I would get naked for a role. I’ve got naked on stage so why not on screen?”
