You might remember Natalie Cassidy's ex-fiance Adam Cottrell from a story last year when he was charged with assaulting the actress and damaging her microwave. STOP. THERE'S MORE.

As it turns out, despite many wild accusations at the time, it wasn't Natalie making Adam angry with her cheeky smile and alluring new hairstyle, it was ADAM MAKING ADAM ANGRY, BECAUSE HE'S ALWAYS ANGRY. Well, from the two stories we've written about him he seems to be, anyway.

We know this because his second bout of furious, uncompromisingly incandescent anger came after he missed a train in December and then immediately went over to a local pensioner's window, AND SMASHED IT INTO AT LEAST THREE PIECES. The police were called and Cottrell was arrested in her garden. After admitting causing £300 of criminal damage he disappeared, NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN.

Until, earlier this week (if a week is 14 days long), when Natalie's agent had this to say to The Mirror:

‘The restraining order against Adam has been lifted due to Adam seeking help for his alcohol dependency. As a result, Natalie and Adam are on civil terms.’

‘Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them.'

‘Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.'

‘They’re enjoying spending time together again and recently celebrated Adam’s birthday together. They are determined to give Eliza the best possible start in life.’

Just like Dappy, Adam's changed. But just like Hulk, we can't help but wonder if and how his uncontrollable rage will resurface. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE YOU REALISE, ADAM? HOW MANY?
