We've seen some pretty poor reasons for holding awards ceremonies in the past, but this has to be the worst so far. We shouldn't be giving people rewards for having disfunctional personalities, reality TV needs to be carefully monitored and controlled, possibly even docked every now and again. Like a naughty dog.

However, we can understand that not everyone feels this way, so here are the pictures from last night's National Reality TV Awards, starring such luminaries as Caprice Bourret, Bianca Gascoigne, The TOWIE cast, The Apprentice contestants, Made In Chelsea's NASA-like think tank, Jedward, Kerry Katona, Levi Roots and Vanessa Feltz. Who needs  a Nobel prize eh?
