One simply insists upon one's self

It turns out that the whole time we've been sitting here, writing our film reviews and generally receiving more hate mail for one vaguely controversial review than for all the stories we've ever done about The Saturdays (U R JUST JELLY HOLY MOLY BECAUSE FRANKYIE IS SOO HOT AND UR JUST A SAD FAT OLD MAN WHO WANKS ON HYS KEYBORD AL DAY) Peaches Geldof, a regular on our site, has been doing her own critiques on Twitter.

We're not going to tell you exactly which film it is that she's reviewing, because that kind of ruins the excitement a bit, so we'll let you guess.

"I reckon 2001 is about the evolution of man, and the idea of god being imbued in both man, machine and the esoteric great architect Other."

Did you guess? Hopefully the third word being in the film's title didn't give it away too much. Still, it certainly was insightful, wasn't it? We only managed to get about 15 or 16 words in before our minds were blown. Blown, blown, blown.

Blown*.

*It seems that once you write 'blown' five times in a row, it starts to look a bit like a colour. Somewhere between brown and yellow, perhaps.

  • Silly little twit. And how can something be imbued in both man, machine AND an other? Last time I looked, both implied two things, not three. Blech.
