Russell Brand has been pictured holding hands with someone who's not Katy Perry while in between takes on the set of upcoming film Rock of Ages. It basically means one of a few things; 1) his marriage is fucked 2) he's so deeply insecure that he demands his assistant hangs onto him at all times 3) cast-mate Tom Cruise has started wearing a wig....

Fuck the boring couple though, what we want to know is how the hell 'Big Danny' (AKA Brand's constant bodyguard - on the left above) shifted so much weight in such a short amount of time? He's gone from Guy Garvey to Peter Crouch in a few months. Surely he's more worthy of DVD workout commission than Claire from Steps or Natalie Cassidy, although we'd like to see him try and protect his client from Perry now...

Re Big Dan - was it coke? Apparently the sugary drink fills you up while the fizz burns calories as it speeds up your metabolism. Actually I'm being mean - he probably sweated it off the old fashioned way. No KFC and runs round the park. Coke's quicker though. Allegedly.
