Snoop Dogg pays tribute to giant swede grower, vegetable not person of Swedish descent

Following on from the news that an Irish farmer wanted Rihanna's breasts off his land, a Welsh gardener has reacted with indifference to an invitation from Snoop Dogg. Look, international music stars, the UK agriculture industry just aren't interested in you - GIVE IT UP! 

In what's pretty much a plug for his upcoming tour, Snoop Dogg paid tribute to Welsh-man Ian Neale and his six stone swede, saying:

“What up? Shout out to my home boy Ian Neale in Cardiff for breaking the world record for the biggest vegetable.

“When I do my show in Cardiff, I want you to come backstage and see me because I do vegetation myself and I want to know your secret so I can show you my vegetables and see if you can grow that into a real big vegetable.

“Come see your boy Snoop Dogg, I’ve got two tickets for you when I get to town.”

In response, 68-year-old Ian from Newport, Gwent, told the Mirror: 

“It’s very nice to be asked, but I’m more of a Country and Western man myself.”

Oh well, here's another six-stone Swede that Snoop will probably be less interested in.

  • Comedy Snoop wants to do what?! He wants to show some old guy his "vegetables" to see if they can grow bigger? Someone needs to tell him that England Land is not the Deep South. We don't do dat shit over here. Mind you it could be that "vegetables" is really a code word for weed and that "68 year old Ian from Newport" is really a Mr Bigtime ganga man communicating with Snoop through code.
