Here's a nice new coffee table book in case you were still looking for a Christmas gift for any particularly 'arty' friends - photographer Mari Sarai has debuted a selection of 'intimate and revealing' photographs from her forthcoming exhibition and book, Naked. We'd say it pretty much does what it says on the tin.

Obviously you've seen Daisy Lowe naked in Playboy before. And obviously you've seen Janice Dickinson naked in your nightmares before, but now you can see them both again, alongside Alice Dellal and other chums in a new photography book. It's not a cash for snatch venture like Lindsay Lohan's Playboy shoot - it's ART. Talking about the project, photographer Mari Sarai explained that models were snapped offering her a view of femininity that subverts the "male gaze" propagated by many publications, adding:

“We would take time to chat, have coffee or snack, talk about something else or have some whiskey. I really wanted to make them comfortable and natural so the portraits were intimate; it was important to me that they didn’t see this as a job.” 

If you didn't get that, Daisy Lowe is sprawled out on a dinner table completely stark naked after possibly being given some whisky and told it wasn't a proper job. It probably works for Terry Richardson too.
