While most people were at the Harry Potter premiere attempting to figure out what they were going to do with their lives now magic has once again become the domain of creepy men with unconvincing facial hair and wandering hands, Eddie Jordan hosted his very own Grand Prix Ball, possibly hoping to mop up all the stragglers, although even he had a form of magic, with his very own illusionist, plastic facemagician Lizzie Cundy. 

Since its for charity though, we'll try not to be too nasty about it, although it was a fairly standard charity ball. The guests pretty much all elicited a 'who the hell is that in the...oh wow, what the fuck are they doing out of prison/the house?' response from us, although as we mentioned the HP premiere vacuumed up most of the potential attendees for this kind of thing, plus Elton's last charity ball only dropped a couple of weeks ago which has left anyone from the c-list or below almost completely skint, so it's not a total surprise.

Anyway, red carpeteers included Brendan Cole, Caprice, Damon Hill, Eddie Jordan, Elen Rivas, Lizzie Cundy, Rick Parfitt, Simon Webbe, Zoe Hobbs and Rebecca Ferguson, who performed on the night. Incidentally, Damon Hill really should have gone to the Harry Potter premiere, he would have been a real hit.
