Forget the Oscars! Forget the BAFTAs! Forget that sheer tights are the work of the devil! Forget all of this as you gaze upon the glory that is the Inside Soap Awards 2011. Just try not to be blinded by the over-whitened teeth and shiny manmade fibres.

Truly, the Inside Soap Awards are one of our favourite events of the year, mainly because we get sick of ripping the piss out of Peaches Geldof and Paloma Faith all the time, so it’s nice to have new fashion disasters to laugh at. We’re definitely enjoying the startling array of frock horrors in this gallery, and special applause must go to Chelsee Healey for ruining a potentially OK frock with a face full of shimmery goop. Watch out, Lucien, she’ll get it all over your suit and then you’ll have to go all the way back to Asda for a new one!

The whole thing is really just an explosion of bad makeup, bum-skimming minis and TMC (too much cleavage, ladies), and it is hard to pick out the very worst offenders. Bronagh Waugh (the, er, tall one from Hollyoaks) was there to represent for Team Tits-Out as usual, and Adele Silva went for dodgy cut-outs.

But really, those sheer, shiny tights on Alexis Peterman just take the biscuit. Like, come on, those bad boys deserve a whole awards ceremony of their own: Worlds Nastiest Legwear Awards.
