A tough night all round

It's all very well bashing TOWIE for being scripted, for creating another generation of undeservingly famous celebrities, and for showing us what text speech sounds like when it's actually spoken, but that doesn't mean anyone should ever wish the cast physical harm.

Aside from anything else, if you did ever attack anyone members of TOWIE, their unusual skin colour means it would almost certainly be classed as a racial hate crime. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped some hooligans in Essex firebombing Lauren Goodger's new boutique. That's right. THEY BOMBED IT WITH FIRE.

Apparently the incident occurred around 10pm, only hours after Lauren personally opened the shop yesterday afternoon. Now, while we weren't actually at the bombing (OR WERE WE?), it doesn't actually look much like a bombing to us, and more like a rocking, or maybe even just a really heavy egg. Either way, the shop was damaged, but remains in a stable condition. We have no idea about Lauren's condition, but we wish her the best.

In other, slightly similar news, here are some pictures of Amy Childs arriving at a fashion show for Pia Michi (pronounced pie and mash), but get this, she's wearing exactly the same dress as Tricia Penrose. How embarrassing!

Anyway, alongside Amy at the event there was Amy Willerton, Charlotte Jackson, Danielle Westbrook, David Van Day, Harry Derbidge, Lauren Goodger, Lizzie Cundy, Nicola McLean, Petr Cech, Sam Fox and Sue Moxley.
