As we've said before (a long time before this week), Mitch Winehouse is an interesting enigma - during an interview with HM a few years ago, he explained that he wasn't necessarily comfortable with being in the limelight but that he was happy to use his position (as Amy's dad) to raise awareness for families struggling with addiction. Understood, particularly now when all sorts of unfair accusations are being thrust his way....

... We also understand that he'd probably want to give away his late daughter's belongings rather than let them go to waste. However considering Camden Square has started to resemble a scene from 28 Days Later, is Amy's doorstep the right place to do it? Well, we're not going to judge a bereaved man's actions, although we will point out that there are at least ten charity shops within a one mile radius…  We guess there's enough to go around though - one would assume that more significant items will go to more significant causes, but the grabby-grabby jostling going on in the pictures is still a bit odd to look at...

According to The Sun, Mitch emerged on the doorstep with a some sacks, saying:

"These are Amy's T-shirts. This is what she would have wanted - for her fans to have her clothes."

Talking to the paper after getting and slipping into one of the singer's vests, someone called Brigitte Pividal said: 

"I will cherish this for the rest of my life."

Meanwhile, John Gallagher, 16 - whose dad got a pair of Amy's sunglasses - said of the T-shirts: 

"They were very small in size and skinny, like her figure."

Yup, that sounds about right - good observation, Gallagher.

Anyway, Mitch later went to London's Jazz Club with Kelly Osbourne for a tribute night. Meanwhile, revellers mourners continued to party mourn in Camden Square.
