Just like cats and small children, celebrities crave attention and love, most are one cocaine-fueled-sex-romp expose away from being left in the wilderness with people throwing stones and big sticks at them in the street. Celebs love to be loved and when they're hated, they pretend to revel in that too, but they're most likely crying themselves to sleep about how no-one thinks they're cool.

Anyway, enough of this nonsense, Pictures of the Day is a collection of some celebs that are hated, and some that are loved, but mostly ones that are hated, because they're more fun.

Kicking off (ooh sport reference) with the most hated man in football, Gary Neville, who was signing copies of his autobiography 'Red' at Waterstones in Canary Wharf, we hope loads of people turned up, but actually we hope no-one turned up and he was there doodling pictures of him and David Beckham having a big old hug.

Remember when Lindsay Lohan was great and lovely, before all the drugs and booze and clubbing badgers? Well everyone hates her now. She 'got her hair did' and was prancing around Beverley Hills showing it off to anyone and everyone (mostly photographers). Megan Fox also got her hair cut, or whatever it is women do in salons, but was less happy at showing it, so wore a hat - lots of people don't like her, mainly because she compared Michael Bay to Hitler.

Blake Lively is still in New York, and she's still shooting Gossip Girl, La Toya Jackson was waltzing around Melrose Avenue with her assistant, Elisabette Canalis leaft her rehearsal session at Dancing With The Stars and Sarah Jessica Parker continued to bloody promote her stupid film, this time on the German morning show Fruehstuecksfernsehen which is a waaay name than Daybreak.

Love him or hate him, Noel Fielding was acting irreverent and hilarious outside the Hoxton Pony, Howard Jones performed at an amusement park in Sweden (not anything like Spinal Tap, OK?) and Anthony Kiedis, son of Anthony Kiedis and weird moustache of Anthony Kiedis arrived at the Canal+ studio, to do something, probably on TV.

Apprentice stars Stuart 'The Brand' Baggs and Raef joined city workers in a 90ft abseil for charity which was lovely of them.

And finally, Mark Wright (boo) and James 'Arg' Argent (hooray) were playing at a celebrity football match between Essex United FC and Bowers FC in Essex, when you've got Mark Wright's, Arg's and Dane Bowers' imaginations, your team names are bound to be shit.
