Here's Cynthia Nixon balder than Samantha Jones' crotch on television. We think she wears it well. Better than Britney and Jason Statham anyway.

Kim Cattrall didn't do this when Samantha had cancer in Sex and the City now, did she? No she did not. Cynthia Nixon has shaved off her hair for upcoming play Wit, in which she plays a professor battling terminal cancer. Talking about it to Kelly Ripa (SO Charlotte), she said:

"I thought it was kind of gonna be 'No muss-no fuss', but I have to shave it every day! It's got kind of a five o'clock shadow, and you don't want to go on with that.

"I was always kind of curious to see what it would be like. I like it; I don't think I'm gonna keep it forever."

Nixon's also got a role in Woody Harrelson's upcoming Rampart, which is pretty awesome. She's a slow burner. We like her. What we like less is some thinly veiled suggestions that she doesn't mind being bald because she's a lesbian.
