Love a nice bit of floral but can't afford Erdem? Get your arse down to Topshop pronto - Mary Katrantzou's English country garden inspired capsule collection for the high street giant launches TODAY. Grab whatever's left!

On one hand, it's great that Topshop makes hot new trends inclusive for all, although on the other, there are some things we really don't want to see on the masses - likes floral leggings, for instance. Yeah, we never said we didn't put the nob in snob. So, it's in a moment of generosity that we're flagging Mary Katrantzou's new collection for the high street store. Perhaps you already saw Poppy Delevingne wearing the 'Pheasant Dream dress' at this week's Elle Style Awards, but the full collection is now available for fashion forward plebs.

The nine piece collection focuses on Greek-born Katrantzou's trademark vibrant prints and elements of structure. The stand-out piece is obviously the aforementioned almost vase-shaped 'Pheasant Dream dress', but we love the everyday wearability of the the sleeveless sheer button-back georgette blouse, silk tunic with hydrangea nest print and the jersey leggings and t-shirt scattered with dainty carnations.

Talking about the collaboration, Katrantzou said:

“It's very exciting to work with Topshop for our third range together. They've been so supportive of my work from the very beginning and this range will be the most ambitious one we've done and the most fun! My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production. I can't wait to see the Topshop girls in the bowl dresses and for the most daring to see them try the print on print layering!”

Shhhhh, Katrantzou, SHUSH - remember, we don't want everyone wearing it. However, we will add the pieces would be a wise investment for anyone - the designer won the Swiss Textile award last year (picked up by Alexander Wang two years prior) and is definitely going places. Bright, flowery, sunny places.

BTW, to mark a decade of supporting design talent at London Fashion Week, Topshop has teamed up with Nick Knight for this great film starring Karlie Kloss. You can spot Katrantzou's soon to be iconic dress amongst pieces created by other NEWGEN recipients for Topshop over the last ten years. Kloss wears her dress with leggings, having obviously noted Katrantzou's tip about print on print layering. Good work, Kloss, you're obviously a quick learner.
