You can say what you like about Karl Lagerlagerlagerfeld and his death neck, but he sure can make impressive dresses. His show was last night, and it didn't kick off until 10pm because Lagerfeld wanted to 'allow the moonlight to fill the Grand Palais'. Talking of lights - or lack of them, a few of the frocks seemed to be lampshade inspired (probably even more so once worn by Alexa Chung), plus we have boxy tuxedo dresses, long versions of Chanel's iconic tweed suit, and various ruffled gowns that, if you've seen documentary Signe Chanel, you'll know exactly how much work has gone into. Honestly, the film's not at all what you'd expect.....
