It was the Costume Designers Guild Awards at the Beverley Hilton (where Whitney died, FYI) last night and a load of celeb-y people turned up to steal the glory from support their needle and thread wielding colleagues...  Considering the amount of trends that come from the screen (try escaping 20s flapper dresses next season!), it's rather jolly nice that the costume designers get some recognition. 

Here's the winners list. Might be the first one this award season that hasn't featured The Artist. Na na na - you can't get 'em all.
