No, Drew, when the art team said they wanted this campaign to stop the traffic, it was because they wanted a stunning billboard visual - you didn't have to take it so literally, you silly-billy kooky chic.

Everyone loves Drew Barrymore, don't they? She done some stupid things - the drugs, Music and Lyrics, Tom Green, but also some very good things - The Wedding Singer, Fabrizio Moretti and making herself a multi-million buck production company (however, back to the bad things, calling it Flower Production). Anyway, our point is that Neiman Marcus were smart to get her for their new campaign - and possibly even cannier to get her to dye her hair red for it. There's only been a one-shot preview so far (above), but the rest will debut when the big fat September issues (also known as the advert issues) of Vogue, Vanity Fair, W etc come out in a few weeks.

Talking about the shoot, Eddie Nunns, vice president of Neiman Marcus brand creative, said:

"The shoot tells the story of a star’s transformation and Ms. Barrymore had a strong hand in the execution, even down to having a point of view on hair styling. She’s a powerful, modern woman with trans-generational appeal."

You'd even forgive her for scratching your car.
