There’s nothing more A/W than knitwear, and while we love a good reindeer jumper, we vastly prefer decent, high fashion knits. Luckily, here’s Mark Fast with his latest collection of figure-hugging woollens.

Fast has moved away from the delicate aesthetic of previous seasons to present a collection of chunkier pieces, playful with peekabo panels and well-placed slits. And, needless to say, his designs still hug and cling to any curve they can find. We love the versatility Fast shows in this collection, from tight-knit rib pieces to incredibly loose, almost macrame’d over-dresses. Our favourite piece is the dishevelled, beaded long-sleeve shift in dark purple, but we also really enjoy the quiet elegance of the cream dress with lattice-work panelling.

There are a couple of bits that don’t quite hit the spot; we don’t love the double splits in a couple of the skirts, and the brown and nude striped jumper look is a bit too gap year for our liking. This is still a great collection, and we will certainly be updating our woollies in time for next winter.
