If Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. show was a little bit too grown up and restrained for you, you’re in luck, for here we have the catwalk pics for Betsey Johnson’s A/W ’12 collection, and what pics they are! Johnson is one of the loudest and most vibrant designers out there, working with bright colour and punky references to create clothes that truly make a statement. This collection is no exception.

This collection is a riot of colour and print, from the ever-present A/W ’12 dogtooth to the acid green and pink shades, all thrown together to make unforgettable looks. All together, some of these looks might seem a bit much, but the majority of the pieces (yes, even the cerise faux fur coat) are actually very wearable. We’re obviously crushing on that dogtooth, and are actually taken aback by the quiet elegance of the floral maxidress and the beaded tshirt dress. 

OK, we’re not crazy about the pink silk maxidress or the lime green babydoll, but Betsey’s doing the splits on the catwalk: she couldn’t give less of a damn what we say! This is a fun collection with some stand out pieces, and we love those vertical-stripe tights.
